Default New Preston Thompson D-45

Ladies and gentlemen, here is the very first P Thompson D-45. I had the privilege of recording this a few weeks ago at Dream Guitars. The guitar was sold before it even arrived, and was shipped out as soon as I finished the recording.

One of a handful of builders that has interested me for a while. My trading days are over, though, so there will be no owning experience!

Sounds great but you could make a Yamaha sound great!

I obviously missed this when you posted, but it was lovely playing on a very fine guitar!

So awesome. I'm currently in the build queue for a Thompson D-Mad/Adi with koa binding, D-41 appointments, and that beautiful torch on the headstock.. Based on their current estimates I'm roughly a year out. Can't wait.
