Sparty gave the Buckeyes all they wanted for one quarter. They got pushed around pretty good too.
I like it! They made the right adjustments and came storming back. This test should serve them well when they play the stronger conference teams.

I don't want to look too far ahead, but as Fields gains more confidence in his abilities, he is going to be very hard to contain. We just have to keep in mind that he's basically a rookie playing in a brand new system. Still, it's hard not to get our hopes up for much bigger things out of this team.

I just found out via a popup ad that

Velveeta is the Official Cheese of the SEC.

Passing it on for the benefit of anyone else here who's been wondering.

Sounds like a call-in to the Paul Finebaum Show.

Ohio State (3) and Wisconsin (13) is a big game tomorrow. Can't believe Wisconsin was upset last week. The only other top 15 ranked teams going head to head tomorrow is Auburn/LSU.

Go Buckeyes! ... And Fighting Irish!

So much for Whisky.
I’m starting to believe the Buckeyes are the best team in the nation.

To me there's no question: they ARE the best team in the country.
They've shown no weaknesses so far.
Of course, that can change or weaknesses can be exposed. But so far they've steamrolled everybody they've faced. Great line play. Terrific quarterback. Incredible running backs. Amazing receivers. The best defensive lineman in the country. World class secondary. Maybe the linebackers are a minor drawback but ... well ... we'll see.

I'm definitely looking forward to PSU (5) @ OSU (3) on 11/23!

Neil, me too! We have this weekend off and then Minnesota next weekend (they're 8-0 too). Still a lot of football between now and when we play Ohio State.

If OSU doesn't compete at a high level in the playoffs this year, might as well forget the "BIG TEN" (Especially the Michigan schools) for the foreseeable future!

That’s what the sports gurus said about the Buckeyes and last year’s team and yet here they are again, in the hunt.
They will be in the hunt every year. Ryan Day’s 2020 recruiting class is ranked third in the nation and the beginnings of his 2021 class is ranked number one. No drop off.
BTW, Penn State is a young team and they are very good. I think you are mistaken about the “Big”.

Any weekend when Notre Dame loses is a satisfying football weekend.

Any weekend when Oklahoma loses is a satisfying football weekend.

Any weekend when an SEC team is definitively knocked out of gaining the Final Four is a satisfying football weekend (Auburn lost to LSU).

Any weekend when Michigan is knocked out of attaining the Final Four is a satisfying football weekend--especially if the coach is Jim Harbaugh (Michigan has two losses).

Any weekend when Ohio State loses is a satisfying football weekend (hoping Michigan disposes of the Buckeyes in their upcoming contest).

Any weekend when Alabama loses is a satisfying football weekend (hoping they lose both in the regular season AND the Final Four--even with a single regular season loss--or, even with a single loss to their record in the SEC Championship Game--Alabama is assured of gaining the Final Four, of course).

How did you make out this week-end? Michigan, Notre Dame, and Auburn won. Ohio State, Oklahoma, Alabama, and LSU didn't play.

SEC cannibalization is right on schedule. #1 vs. #2 this week; should be a great matchup. My Auburn Tigers may well be on their way to another 8-4 season and trip to the Vicks Nyquil Bowl.
