RME power supply?
Hi, having a RME babyface, which is powered by the USB port, I was wondering if it was any interest in getting an external power supply, how to know if it the soundcard gets enough power through the USB port? Does it affect the recording sound anyhow?

The computer's USB supplies enough power. No sound quality issue involved. The computer soundcard is not involved, in fact you are better off without one.
RME does have a user forum you may want to visit.

Thanks for you answer, I was thinking in fact of the power supplying of the two mics which are connected to the babyface
