Default Larrivee OM O3 (Vintage Burst)

I've been wanting one of these OM Vintage Burst models ever since seeing a Pete Anderson model many years back.

This one found its way to me via a trade for some electrical work.

Very happy day.

Congratulations. It looks very clean. Nice trade indeed. How does it found? I’ve not played one of their OMs.

Oh wow. Gorgeous. Out of this world...

But I don't like the Gibson style tuner heads.

An incredible guitar. I have the 00 version and I absolutely love her.
The tone is is so so sweet and full, the playability is wonderful. Anyone who played on her wanted to get one. I prefer this all hog guitar to any all hog I played, and I have tried some that cost 2-3 times more.

Thank you all for the awesome comments!

So this is my second Larrivee OM, the first acquisition was my OM O5 back in the early 2000's. I chose it over the Pete Anderson hanging right next to it and while I do love my O5 there was always a little bit of regret that I didn't go for the Pete Anderson back then and while there are differences between the two I feel like I've finally come full circle and quelled that little bit of regret that had been locked up deep down inside for all these many years.

As to the sound, the Larrivee OM's for their size project really well and while this particular instrument doesn't have the brightness that the OM O5 has, nor should it, what it does have however is a sweet warm tone that puts a smile on your face and a fullness in your heart.
