Lol I don' think I'm going to try the Vegamite now that you guys are talking about it, I might give it to my sister and have her taste it for me.

‘Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscle
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich’

Bruce is a class act!

Definitely an acquired taste, so go easy with it to start with
For me, it was an unacquirable taste. I tried, really, but it just wasn't happening.

Congrats on the new strings, Le Dave!

I was weaned on the stuff and have it on toast every morning.

I see many generous people here on the AGF, I'm glad to share with other members when I can too.

p.s. There's some frequent flyer miles on those strings when you think about it. USA - Australia - USA

Bruce, I know you didn't do this for AGF recognition but it's nice that you would get that. I just want to say kindness and giving done in the spirit that I can sense were done by you have recognition in another realm. I tip my hat.

LeDave, I will be interested in hearing what you think of the Sunbeams.

Check this out.

Hugh Jackman shows Jimmy Fallon the correct way to eat Vegemite.

Dave,

You yourself have been generous in the past, it is just good karma coming back your way.

Bruce is one of the most gracious and generous people on this forum. When I was going through a serious medical crisis earlier this year, Bruce did a lot offline communicating with me to help boost and maintain my morale.

So thanks for that, friend.

Vegemite makes for a good fretboard oil in a pinch

We all missed you Wade, great to see you're OK and getting back into the swing of things.

Now how about a follow-up report on that beautiful Kopp guitar you picked up just before things took a turn for you.

I was playing it this afternoon - my buddy Karl came over to the condo that my wife and I are renting in downtown Anchorage, and we played a bunch of tunes, him on his rosewood Lowden jumbo, me on my Kopp jumbo, my McAlister baritone and National wood-bodied resonator mandolin.

The Kopp received the bulk of the playing time. It’s a fine, fine guitar.

PS: As my follow-up rehab appointments and doctors’ visits have diminished, there’s less need for us to be right in town. So we’ll be heading back to our house in the suburbs here pretty soon.

That’s progress!
