Default Davy's Ramble - a new original.

I've been trying to work-up some new music to do a new album...I'm stuck on about 7 pieces that are not recorded on any CD of mine.

Beyond the 7 tunes, I do have 3 or 4 song-chunks that are promising...but rather than dwell on that, here's one of the completed ones, and played on my new Thomas Rein RJN-3C guitar:

That's very cool, Larry!

It sounds quite Gaelic to my ears, but then maybe Davy is rambling somewhere around Ireland or Scotland?? Very nice piece!

Nice to see you again!

Dave approved!

Thought that was great fun. I myself heard a sea shanty hidden in it, but to each their own. Regardless, well done and quite enjoyable.

Cheers

Dave

Wow. This is the first time I have listened to you. Normally I associate your name with “long time respected forum member who gives good advice”.

Now I hear this and just bow my head. Really beautiful and genius.

Really a fun tune, Larry! Enjoyed the long stretches and those bass runs within the song. That looks quite challenging!!

Very nice, amigo. Pattis the Celt!
I like the way it goes between the tonic and the 7 in the latter part, reminiscent of a tune like Humors of Ballyloughlin.

Apologies for the complete radio-silence.

We had a freak winter storm resulting in no-power since Sunday night. This is ongoing, and we may be without power for a week or more.

Thanks to all...
