Check out Fran Guidry's slack key--I'm pretty sure on a Wingert E. What tone!

Thanks for linking one of my vids, I'm afraid that one is a pickup through a delay box rather than the natural tone of the Wingert. I was kinda embarrassed when I started looking through my videos and didn't find any really good examples of the Wingert without a pickup.

I think this may be the best one I have, it was recorded on a Sony PCM-D50 when I was having a really bad hair day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjV1zzM6RDM

Ah, here's one that might be a bit better, recorded as a demo of the Zoom Q3HD and REAPER video editing, but it came out OK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuAOF57UPMI

I really owe Kathy and her guitar a bit better representation, hopefully I'll get something up in the next few days.

** Edit ** Be sure to switch to 720 for the video to get the least offensive version of the compressed audio.

Fran

I had been leisurely browsing this builder forum and all the custom builders sites. I was not compelled to commit until I came across Jordan. We connected at a recent Duhks gig and I knew I made the right choice. Super cool, down to earth guy. Band freakin rocked the house too.

I looked into Kathy a couple times. Beautiful work and great reviews. I'm sure it would be a great experience with either builder.

Semi related note: I was intrigued by Mike Baranik's work but just couldn't dig up enough literature on him other than what I've read here. Anybody have a website or something, feel free to PM me.

Good luck on your hunt.

Good man TonSlinger. Fine choice. Lots of great choices out there. Jordan is a compelling one.
