It's done! Here is Tony himself playing moments after stringing it up.

Sounds great! Congrats! Beautiful instrument, and Tony is the best!

Love that Tony is playing Fahey....more often than not.

Great looking and sounding guitar! I thought there was much more 'bling' and "mother of toilet seat" involved. Is this an toned down option?

Yes. I asked Tony to forego the rhinestones and paint, extend the sunburst from top-only to full-body, and spell out "Senorita" on the headstock.

Hello,

the guitar arrived this morning. I picked it up, and two hours later had a rehearsal with my band. So the very first playing, out of the box and case, was an hour plugged in with a band! That’s the way to break it in baby.

The guitar is magnificent. It’s BETTER than I expected. A few things I noticed in this hour of playing: the neck is wonderful. Sleek; narrow enough without being too narrow. What I’d call a ‘fast’ neck, super playable. The string spacing is nearly perfect for me. Just a touch wider than 1 ¾. I didn’t miss a string, and had that little extra room I like. The intonation is flawless. The tone is wonderful. I want to try this guitar on many, many types of songs but my initial impressions are deep, resonant, clear, articulate, warm.

Visually it is stunning. The sunburst looks far better than in the pictures, with that reddish hue I love. The pickguard is much thicker than I thought it would be and looks AWESOME. The workmanship overall is perfect.

Can you tell I'm excited?
