Sound wise how do the 822 and 322 compare? Obviously the 822 is a more visually attractive guitar but I’m poor and really need a smaller bodied guitar🤓

Two very very different sounding guitars.
Very hard to describe.
Compare any mahogany body guitar to any rosewood body guitar.
Then also, the AC822 is much louder, due to the engelman spruce top.
The AC822 better for lead guitar, rifs and bluegrass or rock and roll.
The AC322 better for mellow solo singer like me, but it has plenty of volume.

The Eastman AC322 compares very well to the much more expensive Martin D-18.
Eastman AC322 Grand Auditorium size, and AC320 Dreadnaught size, may be the best value buy guitars on the planet.

Wow, sold 3 guitars in the last 2 weeks, and the best of them all is still for sale. The AJ816CE 16" Jumbo, archback is a tremendous player, really really great clean clear maple tone and projection, with a bit of mahogany sound to it, very nice, but, is not a classic similar to Martin style guitar. My luthier who is very busy with building guitars and repairing Martins that come in from all over the nation, played my AJ816CE for about an hour, could not believe I would sell it for under $3000. A Gibson maple body similar guitar, would sell used for $4000, and this Eastman sounds just as good. He said the materials and woods alone, would cost him what I am selling it for. Come and get it.
