I think both are going to be head turners, but the leopard wood especially! The bridge plate is laminated, spruce and Lapacho. Lapacho is also known as ipe, a very hard wood. They’re actually made from offcuts from the sides of one of these guitars.

Heck, why not? I remember seeing one either dyed real dark or fumed, and I thought it looked amazing. Have a nice bard here, and may have to doe some experimenting...

I’m almost certain that I’m going to go for it. Both the Lapacho and the leopard wood guitar will be built with the same general design theme as the Birdseye guitar I built last year. Here’s a
photo for those who didn’t see it.

Haha... shop shoes, going out boots! Those boots were actually made by a friend if mine.

I spent a few hours in the shop this weekend and got the binding finished up. I’ll scrape them down tomorrow, cut the neck joinery, epoxy in the carbon fibre u-rods and get these bodies off for finish!
