** SOLD ** 2012 Santa Cruz (SCGC) D/PW (Sitka/EIR, Ser #6557) -- Like New! ** SOLD **
For your consideration is one of the best guitars I have ever owned. In my possession for the last 6 years, it was the guitar I learned to flatpick on, and which saw countless other guitars come and go. But it is finally time for the next caretaker to enjoy this magnificent instrument. A beautiful sounding guitar with unrivaled playability, this one sports several desirable upgrades including a 1 3/4 nut, Adi bracing + Hot Hide Glue, and the gorgeous Southern Belle Sunburst. String spacing is the standard 2 3/16." Tight grained Sitka top and dark, tight, straight grained EIR complete the package. Virtually mark free outside of assorted pickguard swirls and light fretwear under the B and high e strings, first 3 frets. And I never installed the end pin (included in the case) or had a strap button installed on the neck. Conservatively a 9.7 out of 10 condition guitar. Tons of saddle left, and perfectly set up at 6/64 low E, 4/64 high E, and ~ 0.006" relief. Neck profile is a medium thickness soft V with a fairly even taper measuring ~ 0.86" depth at 1st fret, and ~ 0.93" at the 9th. Official spec sheet and replacement cost estimate for this guitar from Santa Cruz will be included in the case also. *SOLD* Payment by check or bank wire if shipped, and cash or certified check if buying in person.
