You don't think you should be able to enjoy some humor? Some people go through life without being able to laugh at the things life teaches all of us. Sadly, without being able to laugh at one's self it is easy to become bitter; some go so far as to think they know best how everyone else should act or even run a business that isn't theirs. Best to enjoy a good belly laugh each day and maybe learn a new skill (as you pointed out in a post here, "even Captain Jim is learning something from these posts.") I didn't take that as you were surprised that I could learn something, regardless of how you meant it. Personally, I found learning to do basic guitar set up years ago to be fulfilling and good for the pleasure of playing. Some people enjoy writing fiction. Some enjoy an adrenaline rush, like poking a bear. I'm all for any outlet that makes one happy.
So, yes, jdrnd, even you should be able to enjoy some humor. Wishing you a delightful day.

grrrrrrr means I'm happy If I said "Oralcolostomy" that would mean my day is like a fungulating kielbasa. You don't want your day to be described like that The "j" in jdrnd stands for Jeff

Well this is fun. I have nothing to add, per what Abe Lincoln said ... it’s beyond my poor power to add or subtract.

just played lave me and lava pro guitars, i did not believe it but i love them , they sound very good, a bit metallic like a dobro but really good and the effects are great. any other opinions. however lava pro is not confotable to play for its strange ovation shape. a very strong sound. very deep and i don’y know how it is possible but sound is deep also on the smaller guitars and they look vero cool.
an other strange thing:i’m obsessed from string spacing that in those guitars is narrow, but i did not feel so narrow i don’t know why but it was very confortable Last edited by identity71; 04-23-2021 at 04:36 PM. |

Latest Breaking News.
The chinese have discovered Carbon fiber trees as an excellent source for making furniture. Cites is considering putting the Blackphlegm tree on its class 4 list. Meaning special documentation may need to accompany your guitar if you attempt to cross the border into California. A sad day indeed. On another note.. Bob Taylor has bought a sustainable Blackphlegm orchard in the coal mining region of SW Pennsylvania. Taylor said soil conditions here are ideal for our beloved Blackphlegm trees. Trees said to grow here exibit a carbon fiber that is stiffer but lack the solid color so loved by guitarists. Mr Taylor says this color variation is the cost of environmental sustainability for our beloved Blackphlegm trees. He concludes that consumers will just have to get used to it.. Taylors newest design the 919ceb. will sport its new cf bracing dubbed "O" bracing which is a single brace wrapped around the Guitars sidewall. The new "O" Brace is said to flex (expand and contract) at a different rate than the rest of the guitar. Thus making it the first carbon fiber guitar to react to environmental changes. Spokesman/designer Andy Powers Says the guitars new bracing reflects Taylors commitment to our changing environment. They will start production in their 900 series guitars first. Because they are the most expensive. But expect the coal mine O braced Guitars to follow in the 8 and 700 series soon. Last edited by varmonter; 04-24-2021 at 06:31 AM. |
