I've never seen a Martin guitar with the fingerboard shaped to fit the soundhole.

There kits not Martins. You could at one point buy these and shape your own headstock and fingerboard to what you wished. First thing that comes to mind is there Martins which there not .

Thanks, I’ll check with mirror again..,

I can solve your mystery for you.
It's a promotional Marlboro guitar from the early 90's. I have one. It was $50 and 2300 miles. ( the packs had a 5 mile upc code on them). My sister was a bartender and got me al the cigarette miles. 😁.
It's a solid top with laminate rosewood b/s
I checked and it's the exact same rosette and same end stripe. I don't have a photo account so I can't show you pics.
But I guarantee that's what it is. The overly large headstock tipped me off.😁

It's clearly a Martin-inspired design. You can distinguish solid wood from laminates by looking at the grain of the wood. The back and sides seem to be some kind of rosewood. The grain pattern doesn't quite match on the inside and the back. Laminated rosewood would be my guess.

As for the top, I can't tell whether it's laminated or solid from the pictures provided. Looking at the edges of the soundhole, you should be able to follow the grain along the entire thickness of the top if it is solid wood.

Excellent help! Nailed it…eBay completed items for the Marlboro “miles” guitar shows they actually still have quite some value (I paid $100 for it)…

Bravo, thanks!

This was solved, and yes you’re right about the laminate b/s, this is a Marlboro miles promo guitar, thanks

On a remotely related note, one of my favorite OR nurses had saved nearly enough “miles” for the Grandaddy promo…a Marlboro Harley. Sad, long story short, Marlboro ended their promo, gave him a cash-value voucher for $50, and he died of lung cancer within the year. Those guitars are extremely valuable, if you think what some paid for them.
