Hofner 457 Archtop ?????
As y,all know, I am looking for an acoustic archtop. Was offered a Hofner 457 Archtop built in the late 60,s.
He said it's in excellent condition and pics look good. But I know nothing about this brand ect. Are they quality built ? Waiting on a reply from the gentleman regarding questions I had. Thanks Bill

It may have a large neck as most of those do. The heels are prone to separating
Just like the flattops I had a few of each from that era. They really dont have much tone either. I believe the only year for the raised plastic script. Was 1968. All other years were decals
