Well the title is bit misleading, it is of corse "by" Leonard Cohen.
In the video monolog he qualifies it is BucKley's "version" of the song

Should probably be titled something like = Hallelujah- Jeff Buckley version

In any case nice instructional video for a great song

Interesting story on this song. It's not a religious song, but is often taken and played that way in churches, because it sounds like its religious. I think the Buckley version is often cited because it has been modified to sound more church-like, per his reputation.

I enjoyed the clarity of your presentation. You made everything seem very simple and achievable, the sign of an excellent teacher.

Maybe I missed it, but did you touch on the theory of the song at all? When I was learning, I found a lot of value in understanding the key of the song and why the chords were chosen.
