Default Anyone using either the DPA 2028 or the Earthworks SR40V?

I'd like to get a high-end supercardioid stage mic. Anyone using either of these for vocals?

As I understand it the 2028 is based on the 4018 d:facto song mic. We have four of those at work and they are awesome. The 2028 capsule is fixed to the body whereas the d:facto capsule can be removed and put on a wireless adapter for example.

I haven’t tried the Earthworks but the dpa - assuming it is similar to the d:facto sibling - will not disappoint. Frequency response is very even, and we sound engineers love them, they are VERY easy to work with on stage.

I tried both recently (2028, SR40V) and didn't care for either. I'm a huge fan of the Heil PR35, but I just discovered the Earthworks SR314, wow! Blows away every mic I've tried to date (over 20), including the Neumann KMS 104/105, Shure KSM8/9, etc. The SR314 is something special for sure.
