Italian spruce for the top. I suspect the pic isn’t showing all its beauty. It’s a beautiful piece.

It might seem odd - but from all the pictures so far, the guitar LOOKS powerful even without strings! I just have the feeling it’s going to be LOUD and have headroom. (Which for me is a GOOD thing)

Interesting that the guitar appears that way! Volume is something I’ve worked towards over the years, and tends to be one of the first comments I receive when people play my guitars. So I guess they look as they sound!
