Finding a match for the Taylor varnish
This is an excerpt from the Taylor website, would any of you happen to be a Taylor repair center that could give more info on what type of varnish this is and how you could match it if you were finishing over a repair? Would appreciate any help you can give, thanks.

TCP/Custom Shop Conversion varnish is what Taylor uses on any satin instrument out of Mexico.

Almost any conversion Varnish will work, I use ML Campbell's Krystal at my shop.
The type doesn't matter, only the sheen as you cannot blend satin finishes like this together when repairing, you must do the entire surface in question. |
