Default Helix Impulses help.

Hey everyone,

I’ve purchased the 3sigma audio of the martin D45. I just have a few questions.

First, opening the download i see the 2 versions for piezo and soundhole. I understand that. But within those folders, I see 4 subfolders with the numbers 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96. My question is what do these numbers mean?

Also, when looking at the helix acoustic impulse block, i see two different numbers of sample rates. Thoughts on those and how i should go about using them? What’s the differences, etc.

Thanks all

44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 refer to the sampling rate.

You will choose one, probably 44.1 (kHz, which is compact disc sampling rate).

From the Helix manual:

All files of higher frequency will be downsampled to 48 KHz anyway...
