Default Rosewood stripe??

Hi All,

Got some rosewood from LMII. When I started thicknessing some reddish stripes appeared. Anyone see this before?? I assume it’s some sort of sapwood or something. Should there be any concerns structurally or tone wise. I think it actually looks kind of cool…

Thanks

Default It does look rather pretty…

…and symmetrical. Nothing to worry about around structural or tonal properties unless the lighter wood is much softer.
