Default New amp day: Laney A-duo (Pre-owned)

Bought an used Laney A-duo which I got at really good price, well below 1/4 the new price. Enjoying it this far, I think it sounds really good. Lots of bass, so I need to turn that down. And it runs forewer from a 18 Ah lead battery and an inverter.

I also have an Yamaha THR5A and a Mackie Freeplay Live, so I wanted something bigger and more powerful which I still can bring outdoor during the summer.

I have earlier owned Yamaha DXR10 (awesome but too powerful), Roland Cube Street EX (fantastic battery life from AA batteries but I didn't really like the sound, not enough bass) and a Fishman SA330x (awesome sound and great assortment of connections, but a little unsuitable form factor forward me).

I was really looking into buying something really really good this time, and I am willing to pay premium for it. Features I value are phantom power on mic channel, delay with tap tempo on guitar channel, and battery. Options could be Fender Acoustic Junior Go, Nux Stageman AC80 and Everse 8, etc. So I kind of got the Laney A-duo to have something to compare with, but maybe the A-duo is a good match for me...

Back to playing and evaluating.

Cheers,
Per, Stockholm, Sweden

Enjoy! I don't know anything about that one but it looks great. It's a shame you probably can't add the EAE D6-58 to the mix, it's epic. They don't ship overseas from the U.S. and say they have Euro dealers but I'll bet they're few and far between. Just for fun, this is it:

Have fun with the Laney!

Congrat Per! I don't get to see too many Laney acoustic amps in the states. Let us know how you like it.

Excellent! If one of your goals is to spend money there's your chance lol. But seriously, they're amazing units. I don't think it has tap tempo but it should check most other boxes.
