I like the idea leaving the pickguards uninstalled as an option. Especially considering the cost of these guitars. I actually like the pickguard on my 614ce. Good point about someone installing it wonky. I can totally see some people doing that and not caring.


The wood pickguards are definitely one and done. If you don't get it right the first time, the person would more than likely need to get a new one and start over.
