I figured it out! The lows and highs gave it away, even on a laptop speaker.

I liked those capoed chord progressions, and the clear note separation sounded like a great mahogany guitar from the beginning.

Thanks, Cliff - all of these tunes are originals of mine and after writing them in 1997 (& 1999) they've finally been put to good use.

I have 1 Rode condenser aimed at the 14th fret and a Rode Shotgun mic farther away, aimed at the bridge... panned hard L & R.
