Default Kid on the Mountain (played as a march)

Hey Folks,

For your perusal is my version of the Irish Traditional tune "Kid on the Mountain" arranged for guitar by myself and El McMeen. Just about any version of KOTM you'll ever hear, including El's, is played as a Slip Jig/Double Jig but for reasons I can't explain it wanted to come out of my fingers as a march... so I went with it.

Here it is and I hope you enjoy it... thanks.

Holy Cow, Ray!

That's a ton of sound coming out of that guitar! It reminds of some of the John Renbourn pieces I heard years ago and I wondered, how does anyone play such a complex piece!?

I'm still wondering! Awesome job on this, Ray!!!

Glenn… thank you for your kind words I really appreciate it. After the arrangement was put together it took months of regular practice to be able to play “Kid on the Mountain” up to playing speed. A lot of work but worth it in terms of satisfaction. Thanks again!

Not an easy piece to play, and you make it looks simple.
Love this recording.
Thank you.

Thank you, Rene. This tune is a little bit nerve wracking in pressure situations... I try not to let it show, LOL.
