Default Yamaha A3R & A5R Differences

I was hoping someone could explain to me the main differences between these guitars. I know A3R is made in China and A5R is Japan and comes with a hard case. Is there any other reason the A5R cost around $600 dollars more?

For anyone who has played both, was there much of a difference in terms of playability, sound, etc? In your opinion, was the A5R worth the extra money?

I know this is a bit subjective, but I just wanted to gauge other people's opinion on this.

Thanks in advance for the the responses.
