Very cool song and great performance. Love the modern take on this style. Great riffs on both instruments!

I couldn't agree more, excellent job! I must admit though, half way through the song I found myself wishing you had another brother that played stand up bass!

I am not a big fan of country blues but this was phantastic. Very tight and dynamic playing, great singing, good lyrics and very catchy melody...
Think you convertet me Love it!

Thanks for the kind words you guys.
Saxonblue, it is indeed an original, I wrote this around 3am on a particularly cold, sleepless February night when I was living in Nashville last year. I was walking around in the 12th Ave South neighborhood in the wee hours of the morning, freezing my *** off, and feeling real melancholy; missing my girl back in CT more then usual. I heard a distant train whistle, and though "a train sure makes a sad sound." wrote most of the song on the walk back to my place. WillieJohnson, we could totally use an upright playing brother. Qplay, thats what I like to hear!!! and Deepnback, thats the goal You just gotta find the good stuff. Thanks you all again

THAT is my kind of music! Wow that is cool. Avett Brothers vibe! Nothing in the world like sibling harmonies! Great guitar and harp work. If there's been a bad train song, I ain't heard it yet! I subscribed to your channel, bring it on!
