Neil Finn (Crowded house) Roddy Frame of Aztec Camera fame, but fabulous as a solo singer/guitarist. Andy Partridge (XTC) that man can write a great song about any subject. I also really like John Hiatt, Paul Weller & Ray Davies who also get a special mention. Steve.
