Default Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, 1943

"It's Starting to Feel Like Christmas!" "Merry Christmas, to one and all!!!"
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
This song is written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane in 1943.
Introduced by Judy Garland in the 1944 MGM musical "Meet Me in St. Louis".

https://youtu.be/twmZtvGR-BA

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
From now on, all our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the yuletide gay
From now on, our troubles will be miles away
Here were are as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more
Through the years we all will be together
If the fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now

Good job Rene!

One of my favorites. (I played it last night at an open mic.)

Have you seen the original lyrics? They're more like Halloween than Christmas.

ya know Rene you have a definite way about how you craft your arrangements that I find really endearing.

This is nice.
