2001 Taylor 914ce w/ upgrades
2001 Taylor 914ce With Upgrades!
Neck was reset 6/16 by Certified Taylor Luthier to get that fantastic Taylor action. Bone Nut and Taylor's wave saddle were installed in 6/16. Gotoh 510 21:1 Satin Cosmo Black Tuners were installed. (Black and Gold Original Grover Tuners seen in some pictures have been upgraded. Taylor had issues with the ebony buttons on the Grovers and switched to the Gotoh 510 21:1.) Taylor Luthier repaired and braced a small crack on back. No other cracks. Top of guitar has minor blemishes but no cracking. Crack was not caused by humidity The guitar has been in humidity and temperature controlled environment and rarely played over 15 years. No visible fret wear. Fishman Blender Electronics New Elixir HD LIGHT Phosphor Bronze Strings Has absolutely opened up over the years and the upgrades just give it a new feel with the unbeatable sound of the aged wood! I specifically picked up this guitar for the Fishman Blender electronics and the Engleman spruce top! I don't have any issues with the Expression Systems, I just prefer the Fishman for recording! I also prefer the Engleman Spruce tops from back in those years over the sitka. Much clearer tone. Includes original hard shell case.
