2006 Lowden S-25 SOLD

I am the original owner of this guitar, and it has brought me great joy through the years! The condition is excellent, and I have the original paperwork. It has always been humidified and kept in our smoke- and pet-free home. $2950 plus shipping (in the U.S. only, please).

Lightly built but powerful, the S-25 is classic George Lowden. In fact, the 25 (Cedar/Rosewood) was once thought of as THE Lowden. It is rich, full-bodied, immediate, but also warm, woody, humble, and piano-like. This gorgeous guitar's appointments are simple, warm and natural. The instrument's sound complements the visual aesthetic while contradicting its compact size. Focused bottom end, bright mids and ringing treble indeed make this a fabulous fingerpicking guitar. The neck shape and short scale combines modern comfort with vintage feel, and it’s crazy easy to play – just like butter!

No scratches, but it has one little ding in the finish about 3mm long (see pics of top) and a couple of pin-head-sized dings in the binding that you have to look hard to find. It has minor fret ware, but not as much as you might expect for a guitar of its age.
