This begs another question, which wood is from the oldest tree, as is tree that lived the longest?

That is the longest living tree (but not the longest living plant). I have never heard of a guitar being made from one - or much of anything else. The wood is quite resinous. They grow only in poor soil and in poor climatic conditions, one of my favorite trees to see.
