1929 National Triolian Wood Body VGC !PRICE DROP!
Hey y'all!!
I'm looking to sell this guitar because I need a guitar that is more appropriate for gigging. I bought it when I was desperate to replace my last guitar when it broke while I was on tour. I'll start with the gooder stuff: The artwork is in incredible condition for its age. It is currently set up the way I like it for fingerstyle/trad jazz, but it can totally be set up for slide, just as when I purchased it. It has a newer national cone, but everything else seems original. I was told be a previous owner that the current neck-set was done by Don Young, the current president of National. I have not confirmed this, but I see no reason for it not to be true. The neck is straight as an arrow. That's a bunch of the good, and here's some of the arguably less good: The paint is worn on some of the edges. Not so bad. There's a tiny dent on the front on the bass side of the instrument on the lower bout. You can see it in a couple of the pictures. Somebody put a nut extender on it, which marred the neck a little. Three of the worm-gear screws on the tuning machines are mismatching replacements. I think that they are charming. ;) That's all I can think of. Just to be clear: this is the best feeling and sounding guitar that I've ever had the thoroughly fulfilling pleasure of playing. I am selling this in favor of a newer guitar that's less desirous of concern and care, as it is my only resonator, and it is my main instrument. Check out the video for more details, and to hear it! Here's the video, and down below are some pics! I'm asking (price drop from 4200!) 3500 paypal'd/shipped (CONUS) for this instrument. Trades are welcome. I need to replace this with a resonator. Preferably wood bodied. No spider cones. Hit me up at [email protected] to make an offer, trade, partial trade, or cash! The guitar is in Philly if you wanna check it out. Happy hunting! e Last edited by fifteenrabbits; 11-03-2013 at 09:08 AM. Reason: price drop |
