Hi all.
As mentioned in the General section, We're hoping to interact with the AGF community about the courses we offer and lutherie in general. We offer part time, full time and 4 week intensive courses in guitarmaking. We're going to be expanding our workshop space in early 2012, as-well as offering on site accommodation. We hope to post photos of whats being made/repaired in the shop about once a month, along with weighing in on any lutherie/repair discussions. In the mean time, heres some teasers..... Patrick Finney's Rio RW/ Spruce classical. Derrick's Walnut/Port Orford Cedar Parlor Ryan's PRS Style Maple/ Mahogany electric. Sam & Jim Repairing a harp with aircraft grade ply and epoxy A pastoral inlay completed entirely by Kevin O'Brien Thanks for looking LLS Last edited by laganlutherie; 12-21-2011 at 07:33 AM. |

Hey Sam, great to see you still teaching mere mortals like myself to make some great instruments.
the Rosewood/cedar Jumbo I made in the Tech class (what? 5 years ago?) is still my main acoustic. terrifying, but I have two pupils at school here who are making guitars under MY tutelage..... one electric, one acoustic. Good to see Patrick is making some more good stuff too. I've played his 10 string cittern and it was GORGEOUS. Keep it up my man!!

Good to have you guys around here. Spending a month in one of your courses is something I'd really like to do at some point and I'm glad to have one on my side of the world! That's some beautiful work you guys have going on.
