We'll see, K-man. Our travel dates to Sun City are far from finalized yet. The gathering was fun, but it took a fair amount of organizing effort to make it happen. This time around, I'm thinking more like a meeting room at the Music Instrument Museum.
In the end, that event proved VERY expensive. Alice tried an X7, which led to her buying a X7 Woody a couple of months later. She loves it, and being an Emerald, it also counts in the "jewelry" category. The plus side is that her CA Cargo has been in the closet ever since, and will eventually go up for sale. |

It would be Carbon Fest III. I was at Mystic Hot Springs--an international collection of players and great collection of CF guitars. The 2nd was at Park City--another collection of international players and guitars. We got to Skype with the makers. A third Fest could be fun.
There could be a number of regional meets. And then, a national meet somewhere in the middle of the country. |

To me, the upper bout on the Amicus with the forward facing soundhole looks out of proportion to the rest of the instrument.
I think it would look much better with a soundhole like the current guitars.

Incidentally, there was a custom prototype X20 with the new style cutaway in the June 24th shipping video.
