Here's a shot a fellow musician friend took of me at a one of my shows under the lights baby! ... the guitar is a Takamine EF261san, a very sweet guitar!

Two different guitars. The "glamorous" back of my first Bourgeois and the other is my Sunburst Larrivee.

I sure do like the Larrivee, but my eyes are drawn to the Bourgeois. That wood is amazing, what is it?

A dealer shot of one of mine, but very pretty.

Maury took a couple of nice pics of my new Martin DSS-17 before he shipped it to me...

And this just before he started the setup and installed the upgraded bone pins...

On my NGD only a few weeks ago I put the photo up asking if anyone could identify the body wood (saying I would reveal it at the end of the day). One person out of ~15 said it looked like a hybrid cherry/mahogany. They were partly right. It's cherry on a Bourgeois 13-fret LDBO w Adi top. The Adi and Cherry are torrefied. I've rarely found a Cherry body tone that I've loved but this is a BIG exception. Here's the post with the rest of the pics on page 2:
