Default NGD: Breedlove Masterclass auditorium

Traded my first Breedlove Premier Concert copper on this that was used at a local store and I am very much enjoying. The strings appear to be exp16 which are the stock strings and it was built four years ago. I suspect it has not been played very much.

Playability is great and the tone is fantastic. Way more sustain and overtones. The wood is sitka over figured walnut.

If it sounds half as good as it looks, you've done well!

Congrats and enjoy!

Thanks all I'm really enjoying this one. Steadily moving up the Breedlove range. Put new strings on it last night and has added that much more to it.

Gorgeous!

It's not often that I see a Breedlove better looking than mine.

Gorgeous! Nice score... a HUGE upgrade from your Discovery - which are wonderful "starter" guitars and great for knock-arounds...

The full Anthem pickup in that thing is worth decent dough, if you don't have the need to plug-in and play a bunch... have a "pro" remove it and set-up the guitar (saddle will need some love) so you ensure that the pickup is intact and saleable...

I guarantee you that removing the Anthem from that guitar will result in tone and volume FAR exceeding what it will do with all that stuff in it...

Have a BALL playing that into life! Guitars that re still "new" and relatively unplayed will shine with some hours of picking and love behind them...

Thanks! I actually went from a US made Premier concert so not as big a step as from the Discovery and had taken a stab at a Legacy in-between (great guitar but in apparently sensitive to redwood and not as nice a guitar as this one)

I need to think hard about the pickup but for now I'm loving the sound with it in and actually it sounds great through my amps. Has a very cool hollow body blues / jazz thing going on through my electric amp. The pickup is a big improvement on the one step down lr Baggs vtc that is in the Premier for sure.

Breedlove love is contagious once you play one. Congrats on that beauty!
