Default NGD Eastman E1SS-CLA-LTD

This is an extraordinary guitar that had me from the first strum. This Eastman is very responsive. Light in weight. Great bass. The neck and fingerboard feel perfect for my fingers.
I got a lot of compliments at an open mic on it's beauty and sound. I had the internal Fishman Sonitone going through a Boss AD-2 preamp, and it did some justice to the symphonic sounds that emanate unamplified from this Ferrari on a budget.

What a beauty! Wish they made this with a larger nut because the ones I listened to sound amazing. Congratulations!

Thanks Mattwood. This guitar is a great, but it's not one size fits all.

Here is a short sound clip where I wanted to highlight the great bass response and overall pretty overtones the guitar has.

You already own two of the most iconic acoustics in recorded music.
This Eastman's Adi top just dances. A joy to play.

Congrats on the new Eastman E1SS-LTD. They are special. I just received one from Ted, and have noticed how much fun they are to play. The bonus is that I got my favorite number #7 !

Now they say LTD, but how limited? 250 sunburst versions and 250 natural versions seems like a lot of guitars for the North American Market.

The baby version of this guitar, the E1OOSS-LTD, only came out in a natural finish, but last year, Eastman produced 130 of these beauties in sunburst, and right after I paid a full $800 for mine, I saw the sunburst version on my local Craigslist in excellent condition for $550. Now I'm thinking of buying and selling because the sunburst does look SOOO beautiful. It will probably sell before I get around to it.

sweet guitar!

FWIW: The NAMM video shows the designer of these guitars stating that 150 go to the US, and 100 to Europe

I heard only 150 came to the U.S., and 100 went to Europe.

And they didn't make one for lefties! Many lefties would give their right arm for one of these - figuratively speaking, of course.
