Default Wasp Spray?!?!?

I just saw a news item saying some people are using wasp spray to get high. Seriously?

Maybe they can’t read well enough to understand the warning labels on the cans.

You don't want wasps around while you're high though.

I went all through the R&B scene in London in a '60s and '70s and never even saw much evidence of drugs until I got on the "folk"c scene playing with a vicar's son who introduced me to Mary Jane. I didn't really like the feeling of being out of control, and it ruined an opportunity to perform for the BBC.

I don't really understand why people want to abuse themselves with drugs or drug like chemicals.

I just heard that they spray the wasp killer on a metal screen and then run electrical current through it which evaporates the liquids and leave a powdery residue that they then snort. Ingenious, but still crazy

To get "high", to escape, to kill mental anguish, to lower inhibitions, to get energized. Lots of drugs, lots of reasons.

It's no different than the overconsumption of alcohol which is generally tolerated if not accepted and is commonplace.
Oh boy...that comment should get things going. It's too early for popcorn, so I'll grab my coffee and sit back and watch this one.

Well, I accept that I'm a working class white Englishman, but I have had some hard times, serious illnesses, and great losses, and some serious anxiety and depression in my time, but I've never been tempted to seek respite with drugs or drink.

I guess it is a matter of who you are and where you are.

Well - there's only just so much "new news" out there available to fill the void. So, anything to "make you look" gets published.
