Default Small 12-string recommendations?

I like the idea of a small-bodied 12 like a Weymann or Stella, but apart from the one I spotted below it appears that only dreads and jumbos exist.

Seagull makes a concert hall 12 string. It is about the same size as an OM.

I would love to hear one.

The best 12 strings you can get for the money are probably the Emerald carbon fiber 12 strings.

They are dreadnought size, but feel a lot smaller than your average dreadnought.

Here's another 12 string from Emerald.com.

Probably the nicest, best sounding, easiest playing and most comfortable 12 string I've ever played was a 2017 Taylor 562ce 12 fret.

The "Vintage" is the first one that came to mind. I don't know what they are like - but there are always some on Ebay (three at the moment. There is also a newer smaller model called the "viator" but it has barn door 'lectrics - so ......

There is also a red label Yammy on sale for £175, but frankly looks a bit dodgy.

On another price level - I did have the opportunity to play the Collings 02h-12 fantastic neck, but glassy tone for a 12 - not for me. (If they would put that neck on a DS body, they could possibly get some more of my pension!

I play a pre-War Regal 12 string. The neck, however, is a monster and not the faint of heart.

I can only say what I would do if I was seeking a new smaller body 12 string which is to check out Fraulini Guitars. Todd makes some really nice 12 strings based on the pre-War Oscar Schmidt Stellas.

Tho' not necessarily easy-to-find, a '60s Fender Villager XII is the same size as a 000 Martin ['cept for the headstock of course].

Also, Gibson made the B-25-12 in that same period. It's a smaller body.

The Emeralds also come in double neck and smaller bodied 12 string guitars.

Pictured below is a custom order 21" scale 12 string, but I think this scale is too small.
These smaller Emerald guitars generally come standard in a 24" scale, and you can custom order a longer or shorter scale if you have a preference.
