I am a major fan of bevels. The older I get the more I appreciate the extra comfort!

Gorgeous! Are your bevels covered with single pieces of ebony that you've bent to fit?

With ebony binding I use black Dyed veneer as solid black ebony is almost impossible to get. With other binding I try to match the veneer, at normal veneer thickness no pre-bending needed though the back bevel is a bit harder in the waist area. Veneer is taped on tight with binding tape until the glue dries.

The pore fill is now completed,the neck is set and bridge located using locating pins in outer bridge pin holes. This allows me to mask the top and accurately glue on the bridge. A few photos showing the tools I use to set neck alignment and angle and bridge location.

Now ready for masking and a visit to my spray booth for a few days;

Guitar is now completed and will soon leave for its new home. I have retired the tree as backdrop for my photos and thanks to one of my students photo setup nave somewhat better results.
