Useful Hammers,pulls & slides from Chords?
The thread on "Know this chord?" got me thinking about slides, hammers and pulls from "standard chords". I would appreciate comments as to rules for useful hammers, pulls and slides from chords.
The only thing I do regularly is throw in a grace note while fingerpicking or strumming from the major chord to the sus 2 or sus 4 from the A barre form and for the open form of G and C. Sometimes I'll go from the E to E7 and A to A7 as well. I suspect alot can be done with the inversions of different chords as well as say sliding from flat 3 to 3 in a minor to major transition. Can someone elaborate? Is there a good overall reference for this? ( books, videos, websites )

C: 0 1 0 0h2 3 x G: 3 0h1 0 0h2 x 3 F: 1 1 0h2 3 x 1 E: 0 0 0h1 2 2 0

----1-h3---------------------
----0---------3-p1---------- ----0---------0-------------- ----0---------2-------------- ----2---------3-------------- ----3---------x-------------- G7->G->C9->C # or b the 9 for the blues juice or this kind of stuff, sounds "ringy" ---7--p5-p0---------------- ---5------------7---p5--p0- ---6------------6------------ ---7------------7------------ ------------------------------ It's all about the tension and release, yea? |

Or try this little A7 riff in a blues song:
-------------------------- ---5----7--5------5---5-5- ---5h6--7--5h6p5--6---6-6- ---5----7--5------5---5-5- 0---------------------7-7- ----------------------5-5- Sorry it dosn't line up, but you get the idea.
