Walnut/Cedar 00. Final shots

I’m having real trouble getting the color right on the top of this guitar. The first shot is the best approximation of the top color. The back sides and neck and peghead are good color wise. There is too much red in most of the other top pics.

This one is headed to LaConner and/or BIG

That’s a beauty, John! I really like the continuity of the burl where you used it, and the rest of the wood is stellar. Your usual fine craftsmanship makes it all shine.very nice!

Thanks 7v7IM7. It’s good to hear that I’m not the only person having trouble photographing bursts. Any pointers? I’m guessing lighting has a lot to do with getting the color right.

Many highlights to appreciate on this guitar, but I think the maple bevel and bindings are the top for me! Yes, I wish you the best John, but I hope this comes to B.I.G.

Walnut & cedar or even redwood should be great.
