Default Transcribe! measure markers

I just discovered there is the ability to put in measure markers in a tune's display.

I'm trying to put a few of William Coulter's guitar pieces from his Celtic Sessions down on paper. I'll have Transcribe! at the top of the screen, Guitar Pro stretched out on the bottom, my guitar in hand and headphones half on,
The measure markers will make it a lot easier now to not lose my place.

Transcribe! is great. If you put in a bunch of measure markers, say 10 or so, Transcribe! can add the rest of them. It's not always totally accurate, but it can be helpful. Also, and you may know this already, but you can save locations in the Misc tab and name them, so that when you go back into the program later you can go directly to those locations. You can also save and name selections in the waveform in the same way, so you can save a selection of a difficult part and play it in a loop and it will be retained in the next session. It's a fantastic program for learning music.

The first thing I do with any track is put measure markers in.
You can then edit the markers to subdivide measures into as many beats as you want (correctly spaced). I.e., no need to tap out beats as well as measures. (and you can always slide the markers if you happen to have tapped them in wrong.)

The only annoying thing is when you've set the subdivision to (say) 4 throughout, and then find some bars are irregular - with one beat more or less than the others (happens all the time in Bert Jansch tunes!). If you then subdivide that measure differently, it changes all the following ones to the same subdivision, so you then have to reset them. Meanwhile, I've never found a use for the "same as previous" choice that is offered.
Been using the program for years and I love it - except for that!
