Default HyVibe to be installed in any guitar

HyVibe system can now be installed in any guitar

There is already a shop in Paris that can install it.

I’ll be ordering a Martin D-45 from Maury’s music to install this into! (I may or may not be kidding).

Didn't you say you did not like to have too much stuff in the guitar?

Look at those heavy transducer... Do you really want to glue them on a Martin Guitar top?

But then I can loop! I’m kidding. I would just get the guitar with the system built in.

Cool! I'm learning to play a short-scale acoustic bass (Ibanez PNB14E-OPN) and it would be cool to have the HyVibe system in it.

I have the basic Lag HyVibe, the THV10DCE HyVibe, and it find it to be a really nice guitar "as is".

Hi Per,

I tried the Hyvibe the other day in a shop and I struggle with the Menu.

When you are not using a bluetooth footswitch, I found that
1) You have to go to one menu to set the tempo
2) You have to fix the number of bar to be looped(That was complex to do... and not the same with the 2 different Hyvibe guitar which had different firmware I guess)
3) Then You launch here a count in and can play your phrase to loop

Can the bluetooth pedal makes it work as
Rec/Play/Overdub

like any looper?

I'm not "a looper guy", so I haven't used it much. And I also have the AirTurn 2 pedal, but I haven't really used that either. I'll try to spend some time with this...

I find the HyVibe system really impressive, but there are surely some improvements (as well as bug fixes) needed before I'm really happy. One thing I really want to see is a separate output mix for the effects so that you can lower the amount of wet signal when plugged-in: at the moment, with a given effect setting, if you plug your guitar into an amp it will simply be too much effects. Also I would like to keep the effects coming from the guitar itself while being plugged-in (useful when not having too much power from the amp/PA). And this requires the separate output mix I mentioned.

Another cool thing would be if they added an IR loader effect, or at least an IR effect for the guitar itself. This would have the possibility of giving a really nice acoustic sound when plugged-in without any external gear... just plug-into the PA.

I have frequently spammed Matt at HyVibe with these requests, let's see if they get implemented.

/Per

Not sure they can do it... They probably already have an IR loader to correct the top response and make it more "HiFi". a second IR loader would need lots of processing power.

I'm sure it works but that does look like a lot of gear to stick inside an acoustic guitar!

I've tried it. It's a bit of a gadget for me but I know some people loves it.

I have just tried my newly purchased Harley Benton Truetone SH-30 magnetic pickup + microphone combo soundhole solution in my Lag THV10DCE HyVibe guitar, and the intitial impression is pretty promising. I connect the SH-30 to my Mackie Freeplay Live amp, and if I have the HyVibe internal effects running (using the guitars exciters) and turn the mic knob of the SH-30 up I will also get the effects in the Freeplay. And as the Freeplay is not that loud with with guitar signals I will have a pretty even mix volume wise between the guitar itself (which is pretty loud when the HyVibe system is on) and the Freeplay... and this is exactly what I'm after.

Gonna experiment more with this setup during the weekend, trying to run the SH-30 into my Yamaha THR5A and my Fishman SA330X as well.

Would be cool if someone put together a guitar that combined the HyVibe system and the LR Baggs Anthem!!
