Besides my Froggy with its 20” FB radius, I have guitars with 12”, 14”, 16” fixed and 14”-18” compound FB radii on my guitars. I play jazz tunes and play both bar chords and movable 3 and 4 note chords all over the fretboard. I notice no difference the difficulty to fret my Froggy over any other instrument.

Thanks all, appreciate the kind words. The 'Garden Sessions' came about as a little bit of light relief when lockdown first happened in the UK. The weather was good for a few months so I posted a number of short little 'lo-fi' videos sat playing in the garden. The full list was here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...n9w2Cdhnerp5Z6

Really enjoying seeing everyone's Froggy Bottoms on display here, there's something magical about them for sure!

Necks feel great. I have two very different FBG: on H12c with 1-7/8" nut and a F-14 with 1-3/4"neck. I have no trouble fretting anywhere using barres. I use the whole fretboard.

Count me in! I'm more of a strummer, so I love my Froggy SJ. I do 'jones' for a smaller body Froggy from time to time though.

I wasn’t referring to the neck. I meant the radius.

Radius did have me run into issues with my H12. Sold it as I didn't enjoy playing it compared to my Collings and Santa Cruz

1997 A12, Adirondack over Mahogany. Bought used in early 1999. There is some issue with the fretboard radius?

Not an issue, just a feature. Their radius is a little on the flat side as compared to a many other brands. People used to more rounded radius fretboards sometimes find it difficult or at least not to their liking.

Not to hijack, but do you have an issue with your Collings 14" - 26" Compound Fingerboard Radius?

I currently own a custom Froggy Bottom K in Guatamalan Rosewood and Swiss Spruce. It was built earlier this year and was spec'd out with me by Michael last fall. It is the fourth Froggy Bottom that I've owned. The previous three I have bought and sold over the past two years doing research for my "dream guitar" that would be everything I ever wanted in a guitar. Other than tone, this also included a wider neck and more rounded fingerboard than is found on most Froggy Bottom guitars. The guitar is just two months old now, but already seems (to me) to be much better than the other three Froggies I've owned. Michael really did an excellent job figuring out exactly what I wanted in a guitar and the guys at Froggy delivered just that.

Did this guitar stop GAS like I was hoping. Well, no. But it did raise the bar so that I'm not really interested in most intstruments that I may have wanted in the past, as I know they would never compete with my Froggy K.

I've owned three Froggies - an H12c (Adi/EIR), a P12 (Adi/EIR), and an H12 (Adi/Madi). Loved all three, but sold them for various reasons. Happily, the Adi/Madi H12 came back to me last month, and likely will stay with me through my playing days! Pictured below...

Loving this thread. My two Froggies are a 2000 custom order H12c in adirondack (cut by FBG in a fallen VT tree) and ind RW with 1-7/8 nut

String suggestion for Froggy owners and others.

In have recently gone back to Newtone Masterclass Doublewound 12-54 and find them to be amazingly rich and clear compared to the Pearse PB I have been very happy with over the past few years. The Newtones are more expensive and you have to order the doublewound directly from UK factory. It tales about 2 wks to get them. They add significant complexity and richness of tone to my FBGs. Give them a try and see if you like them.

Hans
