For some odd reason Strings & Beyond list the D'Addario 029 in the EXP but not in the PB...go figure.

Yeah I had the same problem with the 29.

Stringjoy can supply Amicus strings, I have a set I have yet to try, but will sometime this year: 8.5, 11, 15, 20w, 30, 42

Although I suspect I'll be going a step up in tension as I switch regularly between it and the mandolin, for a little more consistent feel and more power and headroom.

That’s what I have on mine at the moment. They sound great, but they’re not lasting so well.

I think I’m going to try a couple of sets of Ernie Ball Extra Slinky (.008-.038) or Hyper Slinky (.008-042) nickel wound electric strings on the next change. Much the same price, in total, but easily available locally. Newtone’s fulfillment can be a little leisurely

That’s good to know. Do they actually package a set for the Amicus, or do you make it up from their singles? I couldn’t find it on their website.

I had to ask for a custom set based on their singles, but the pricing was the same as a non-custom set.
