Since there were no rules implied with the voting, I vote burst, and then I vote burst, and then I vote burst, and finally, burst.

John,

As I have established with Ryan in another thread (which proved expensive for me), I am from Chicago so - vote early and vote often applies

Burst.

The one you posted is beautiful! The RW center will be challenging to tie-in, but Hey man - That's your problem. Just make it work!

Good luck, it will be a sweetie either way.

Chris

Okay, I'm a little slow on the uptake today. The IRW strip is a previous build. I assume this one is all Maple.

BURST-

John, Can I chime in? I like the burst idea. I have a Spruce/Maple Taylor with the brown sugar color on it, and it is GORGEOUS.

Burst it!!

From a "non-burster", I have to say that is beautiful! Love the figure coming through the amber.

It's gorgeous as is, but I vote for the full body burst too. I would definitely vote against a burst on the top only - it's all or nothing for me.

Thanks for the input guys. Looks like the burst is gaining. I was leaning that way but wanted to see what you all thought. This seems a little like the decision my brother had when finishing his oak parlor. My vote then was to darken the oak. He went natural, it looked great, it sold.

Of course Mike. It seems wierd to be building without your input. Is the example I showed what you would call brown sugar?

Smile Pretty either way!

Hey John

I am not a big burst fan, but the one you showed above is awesome!!! And it does look a lot like the Taylor Tobacco burst. But better. Haha

So I am voting burst, too!

But either way, it will be beautiful!!!

Cheers

Paul

Thanks Paul. That burst seems to add instant patina and gravitas like it's been earning it's keep for decades.

That's right I remember you voted on the boss-is-away guitar and then bought it. That's pretty cool.

Hint hint. I remember seeing that list Chris put out there. It did have your name on it.

I'm not typically a 'burst' guy but the example you showed is beautiful. So, add another for burst.

I really dig the burst on this guitar. Not sure if it would tie into the back and sides of what you have.
