Hey folks, I'm wondering if anybody would like to trade me a rosewood Martin style dread (D21, D35, D28, HD28, M36, H&D Pilgrim, etc) for my Thorens turntable. Here are the details:

$2500 OBO (reasonable offer), won't ship due to weight and nature of the machine. In Chicago 60645

- Table dates 1957. It has been repainted because the original paint was chipped and nicotine stained horribly.
- Plinths is multi-layered birch ply, laser cut. No problems with speed controls.
- Fresh clean screenprinted nameplate with SN stamped
- New Thakker belt
- New Audio Silente motor bushings
- New clutch pads
- New Audiosilente endcap and thrust plate (extras included as well as original)
- Fresh suspension mushrooms
- large sorbothane feet
- fresh motor mounts
- new internal label
- properly oiled and maintained
- Fresh neon strobe lamp, extra mirror included
- New Audio Silente idler wheel with extra rubbers (original idler wheel not included)
- Brand new fabricated aluminum top platter. completely flat. OG platter is included too.

This table runs quietly and smoothly. It is a piece of thoughtful design, a definitive period piece, and something worth passing down. Compared to many other tables this will hold value well.
