@GHowdy, how is that set up in terms of feedback? I’m thinking of going this route with an ETL and an EV-30M set up but worried about feedback.

My system is from KISS Systems.

Shure SM-58 Vocal mic and my Acoustic/Electric guitar of choice.
Both are plugged into my Bose S1 Pro Speaker.
I use a short speaker stand that elevates the speaker to ear height.
A folding stool is always with me, should I need it.

No other electronics or effects.

This gives me a great natural sound and I get a lot of compliments on the way it sounds.

It all fits into a small folding wagon that I use to transport it to and from the truck to the gig.

Martin Aura, Gibson Aura Pro, Gibson Anthem, Gibson Session. Straight into Fishman Loudbox Mini, or into Radial JDI into mixer. Preferably the bigger the system the better.

Guitars, 5-string banjo, occasionally a tenor uke - all run through the same setup: Boss TU-3 >> Fishman Plat Pro EQ/DI Preamp >> MXR Phase-90 >> Lotus Pedal Gray Tremolo >> Boss BD-2 >> Fishman SA220 or, if no elec, Fender Acoustic Jr GO

Vocal >> SM58 >> SA220 or GO amp

These days i'm a running a simple digital rig. I've got a one-man-band setup with 5 leads running into a Behringer Flow8 mixer which I use as a interface in conjunction with LoopyPro (daw) running on my Ipad. The software route opens up a world of sonic possibilities that I have really grown to appreciate over the last few years. I use a variety a plugins to get things sounding nice and warm to my ears and then it runs out into two Bose S1 speakers or the house system.

Guitarbrent, it mostly depends on the room. I play at senior living facilities and have encountered only one where my setup didn’t work well. That one had a large cavernous room with tile flooring and no acoustic dampening.
I’ve been able to EQ the room at all other locations with no issues.
This is the best setup I have found for me after several years of gigging senior facilities and I average 70 shows a year.
If and when my 220 needs replacing, I’m going to give the EV-30M a good look as I’ve read good positive reviews.
Also, I must say the ETL mics are awesome. I have an Edwina.

My Furch has a MiSi dual source pickup and preamp. My old Tak has it's circa 1992 undesaddle palathetic pickup with a barndoor preamp.

Pedalboard includes: Source Audio EQ, Wampler Ego compressor, Radial Elevator, Alexander History Lesson and Ibanez DML10 delays and the Keeley Hydra reverb and tremolo. I also have a Way Huge Pork Loin and an EHX POG2 that are used in specific situations, but aren't part of the core sound.

Pedalboard runs into Allen & Heath Zed10FX mixer. I use the aux feed on the mixer to feed a Pigtronix Infinity looper.

My vocals are mic'd with a Heil PR35 into a TC Helicon Harmony G-XT and then to the Zed mixer.

The mains on the Zed run into a dbx goRack. The goRack feeds either a Bose S1Pro or EV ELX12P speakers depending on the size of the gig.

It's too much gear for a guy with a guitar who sings, but I use all of it when it's needed and miss the pieces when they aren't there.

K&K through a ToneDexter trained with a Neuman KM184 SD mic, then onto the PA board (QSC Digital board).

Can you explain what you mean by, "I use the aux feed on the mixer to feed a pigtronix infinity looper"? I use the same mixer and I have a looper as well. Thank you

That sounds like a great set up. I'd like to try a Myrtle but the ET mic's are ridiculously expensive to import into the UK. I may have to build my own!!!

My live solo acoustic setup is simple, yet perfect:

Deadalus W-803 Pair w/Ultimate Stands
Parasound 2125 Amplifier
Pendulum SPS-1 Acoustic Preamplifier
Lexicon Effects Processor

K&K Pure Mini Pickup
DPA-4099 Microphone

I have a rolling rack case and a fold-up dolly to ease the stress and strain. I'd rather not submit to a lighter rig at the expense of good sound.
