Post Played a Jewel Signature Model Today

Today I got to play one of the new Jewel Signature model guitars. It's a very visually appealing guitar that sounds rather nice. The Satinwood is a light amber color, more on the yellow side of amber. The satinwood used on this particular guitar was lightly figured like flamed maple. There was a very nice inlay pattern on the back, and nice wood inlays on the fretboard.

As far as the sound goes, it sounded the closest to mahogany, with a tighter bottom end - not as rich, but not in a bad way. The guitar seemed to sound better when played fingerstyle, and every note rang out clear. Overall a very nice guitar with a lot of unique inlays that were elegant, yet understated at the same time.

Played one this weekend J.R.. I was pleasantly suprised at the sound, especially when fingerpicked. Reasonably priced, too.
